While trying to get down from the moving train at Govindpuri railway station, a woman resident of Datia fell on the platform along with the child in her lap. Due to the fall, she became unconscious while the child slipped from her lap and went under the wheels of the train, due to which he died on the spot. Ravi, a resident of Barra Do, told that his sister-in-law Shashiprabha was married to loader driver Kamlesh Tiwari, resident of Budhauda village of Datia, Madhya Pradesh. They had two children, Bhavishya (10) and Harsh (4). Shashiprabha’s father had died some time ago.

After her father’s death, she was coming to her maternal home in Barra 2 for the first time with her son Harsh by Gwalior-Barauni Express. As soon as the train reached Govindpuri station on Saturday evening, passengers started alighting at the outer. During this time Shashiprabha also started getting down from the train. While getting down from the train in a hurry, Shashiprabha’s foot slipped and the child slipped from her lap and came under the wheels of the train and was cut. At the same time, Shashiprabha was badly injured. GRP reached the spot, admitted the injured Shashiprabha to the hospital and also sent the body of the innocent child for postmortem. GRP conducted postmortem of the innocent body on Sunday and handed it over to the father.
Mother kept crying while clinging to her son’s dead body
Shashiprabha, who reached the postmortem house on Sunday, started crying after seeing her son’s body. She was crying and cursing herself. The people present there from his maternal side tried to calm him down. While clutching the dead body of the innocent child to her chest, she gasped and fell down. People nearby brought him back to consciousness by splashing water on his face.
